Kids’ photo privacy when ordering an illustrated book
What parents should know about consent, moderation, retention, and deletion when uploading a child’s photo.
Consent first
Only a parent or legal guardian with rights to the photo should upload. Toto asks for that consent before the create flow continues.
Illustration only
Uploads are moderated and used to draw the book — not sold as stock photos. Generated art is stylized, not a photoreal dump of the original.
Retention and deletion
Original photos are not kept forever in active storage. You can request deletion or export of a child’s profile data. Details live in the Privacy notice; contact us via Contact if you need help.
